Police in Crete have arrested a 38-year-old Serbian national suspected of being a member of a criminal organization and a contract killer.
An international arrest warrant is reportedly pending against the man in connection with forgery offenses, while Serbian police sources have also identified him as an alleged member of the Kavac-Vracar criminal group, which has been linked to contract killings of rival gang members.
Greek police found the man in possession of forged travel documents during his arrest.
Authorities are now investigating his activities and contacts while in Greece, including whether he had links to criminal groups operating in the country.
