Police in the western Peloponnese are investigating the circumstances of a two-car crash that killed a 25-year-old woman on Friday.
The collision occurred at around 3:30 p.m. near the Kato Achaia junction on the old Patra–Pyrgos national road.
One of the vehicles caught fire following the crash. Firefighters later recovered the woman’s body from the vehicle.
The driver of the second car was taken to the University Hospital of Patras in a serious condition.
