IDAC State Advocate Drushantha Ramsamy testified that suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu arranged for a top secret report to be given to IDAC chief investigator Dylan Perumal.
A classified IGI report regarding Brigadier Dineo Mokwele's appointment was allegedly shared without proper declassification, raising concerns during the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
The report related to the investigation into the alleged irregular appointment of Brigadier Dineo Mokwele was allegedly flown to the Eastern Cape on the instructions of suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry heard on Tuesday.
The report was allegedly delivered to the Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) chief investigator Dylan Perumal despite lacking the required declassification before being shared.
Testifying before the commission IDAC State Advocate Drushantha Ramsamy said Perumal shared the report with her via WhatsApp.
