A 75-year-old man was found dead next to a rubbish bin in Loutraki, near Corinth, on Sunday morning, according to local media reports.
A passerby reportedly discovered the man and alerted authorities. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and transported his body.
According to local residents who knew him, the man had a history of heart problems. Initial findings suggest he may have suffered a heart attack while taking out the garbage.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the death and have not ruled out other possibilities. An autopsy is expected to provide further information and help determine the exact cause of death.
