Thoothukudi District Monitoring Officer and Director of Agriculture K. V. Muralidharan on Saturday chaired a review meeting with officers of all departments at the Thoothukudi Collectorate.The meeting was presided over by Thoothukudi District Collector Vishu Mahajan.Prior to the review meeting, Mr. Muralidharan inspected various developmental projects at several parts of the district.He inspected the new library being constructed at a cost of ₹9.85 at Dhanasekar Nagar in Thoothukudi Corporation. He also inspected the Puckle Canal widening work, being carried out at a cost of ₹53.70 crore and UGDS work being implemented at a cost of ₹153.29 crores in the Corporation limits.He then inspected the desilting work of Korampallam tank at a cost of ₹20.48 crore. Subsequently he reviewed the projects works of VinFast electric vehicle manufacturing company at SPICOT, the Primary Health Centre (PHC) and construction of textile park in Puthiyamputhur.Mr. Muralidharan reviewed the banana cultivation of three farmers through drip irrigation and a social justice hostel functioning under Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare department in Ottapidaram taluk. He also inspected the farm ponds established on rainfed agriculture lands in Duraisamypuram.Thoothukudi Corporation Commissioner S. Priyanka, District Revenue Officer M.
