Turnaround, Bright Eyes

WPP’s revenue declined year over year 4.7% to $6.38 billion in the first half of this year, according to the agency holdco’s latest quarterly earnings report on Thursday.

But for WPP, which is six months into a massive 3-year turnaround plan (called “Elevate28”), that’s actually good news. The British company ended up beating analyst estimates and saw a 29% growth in stock yesterday morning – its biggest single-day gain since it first went public in 1995, according to Tech Times.
