Advocate Gilbert Jose with murder accused Duncan Hoorn
Duncan Hoorn's second day on the witness stand in his murder trial was marked by repeated corrections from both his own advocate and the presiding judge, who at one point admitted she was growing "quite tired" of having to remind him to answer the questions being put to him.
The Western Cape High Court, currently sitting in the Wynberg Regional Court, heard Hoorn continue giving evidence in his defence against charges of kidnapping, murder and defeating the administration of justice following the death of his wife, Chantel Pasqualle-Hoorn.
Hoorn has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Leading his evidence, defence advocate Gilbert Jose questioned Hoorn about his personal background, including his schooling and family.
