Former BOSA Gauteng MPL Ayanda Allie has joined ActionSA .
Former BOSA Gauteng MPL Ayanda Allie has joined ActionSA, with the party appointing her as its 2026 Election Campaign Ambassador for Issue Driving in Gauteng ahead of the November local government elections.
Allie’s move comes days after BOSA terminated her membership following an internal disciplinary process that lasted more than a year.
The party said its board had made repeated attempts through consultation, mediation and engagement to resolve the matter before reaching its decision. Allie was given an opportunity to appeal the decision but chose not to do so.
Allie, who was BOSA’s sole representative in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, later said the breakdown in her relationship with the party leadership was linked to disputes over party levies, constituency funding and resources needed to carry out her legislative duties.
