Ayanda Allie has broken her silence after BOSA terminated her membership, saying she withheld party levies to support legislative and community initiatives while disputes with leadership escalated.

Former Build One South Africa (BOSA) Gauteng MPL Ayanda Allie has broken her silence after her expulsion from the party, saying the decision followed a dispute over salary levies, constituency funding and a disciplinary process in which she claims an independent chairperson found her conduct did not warrant dismissal.

IOL previously reported that the BOSA Board had terminated Allie’s party membership following the conclusion of an internal disciplinary process.

The party said the matter had been under consideration for more than a year after disciplinary proceedings were first initiated in July 2025.

BOSA Board chairperson Stevens Mokgalapa said the party had made efforts through consultation, mediation and engagement to reach an amicable resolution, but that "no workable foundation existed to resolve the issue".
