Accounting giant PwC has published four papers that are riddled with false AI-generated material, according to a new report.
An investigation by GPTZero, which makes AI-detection software, found that the four “thought leadership” papers, published between 2024 and 2026 by PwC Middle East, included unverifiable or patently false information.
There was an 84 percent probability that PwC’s 2025 paper “Transforming Governance” was entirely AI-generated, rising to 100 percent when excluding the reference section, GPTZero found.
