Civil activist Ali Mousinejad Farkoush was arrested by security forces in Taleqan County on the evening of Friday, July 24, and transferred to an unknown location.
HRANA, the news agency of Human Rights Activists in Iran, reported that the arrest was carried out by forces affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
According to information published by HRANA, IRGC personnel detained Ali Mousinejad Farkoush on Friday evening in Taleqan. As of the time of publication, details regarding his place of detention, the grounds for his arrest and any potential charges remain unknown.
Mousinejad Farkoush has a history of previous arrests by Islamic Republic security agencies. Notably, he was detained by security forces during the nationwide protests of 2022.
