Amin Naseri, a resident of Asemanabad in Ilam Province who was wanted by security forces in connection with the January protests, has been arrested by IRGC Intelligence agents after being shot and transferred to an undisclosed location.
HRANA reported that on Sunday, August 23, several IRGC Intelligence agents entered the city of Asemanabad to arrest Amin Naseri.
An informed source close to the citizen’s family stated that a physical altercation occurred between Naseri and the agents during the arrest attempt, leading the officers to open fire and injure him.
According to the source, after shooting and wounding Amin Naseri, the agents took him into custody and transferred him to an unknown location. No information has been released regarding his whereabouts, fate, or physical condition following the gunshot injury.
Amin Naseri is a resident of Asemanabad, located in Chardavol County, Ilam Province.
