The Kaduna State chapter of the African Action Congress (AAC) has condemned the killing of some kidnapped residents of Ariko and Awom villages in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, describing the incident as a tragic reflection of the worsening security situation in the state and across Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Saturday, and signed by the Kaduna State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Musa Muhammad, the AAC expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of the victims and extended condolences to their families, the people of Kachia Local Government Area and the entire Kaduna State.
The party described the killings as "a painful reminder of the worsening insecurity confronting the state and the nation at large."
Expressing sympathy with the bereaved families, Muhammad said, "The brutal murder of innocent citizens after they were kidnapped is barbaric, inhumane, and completely unacceptable. It is yet another indication that urgent and decisive action is needed to address the persistent security challenges facing our communities."
