AAC Demands Probe Into Kano Critic Dan Shagamu's Killing After He Pleaded For Protection From Threats

The African Action Congress (AAC) has condemned the gruesome killing of Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu, a Kano-based social media influencer, political commentator and government critic, demanding a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Dan Shagamu was reportedly killed at his residence in Gaida, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State.

In a statement signed by its vice-presidential candidate, Haruna Garba Magashi, the AAC described the killing as particularly disturbing because the deceased had reportedly raised concerns over threats to his life and appealed publicly to the Kano State Government and security agencies, including the Nigeria Police Force, for protection.
