Kano political commentator, Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu
A social media political commentator, Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu, has been killed at his home in Gaida, Kano State.
The circumstances surrounding his death remained unclear as of the time of filing this report, but the killing has prompted calls for an immediate investigation by the authorities.
Former Kano State governor and opposition politician, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, raised the alarm in a post on X on Tuesday, saying Dan Shagamu’s body was found in a pool of blood at his home.
“I am deeply disturbed by the killing of the renowned social media political commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu, whose body was found today in a pool of his blood at his home in Kano. Dan Shagamu was brutally slaughtered in a horrific attack,” Kwankwaso said.
