A man and a woman have been arrested on the Cycladic island of Syros in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 41-year-old woman.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred at around 5 p.m. when the victim, with her facial features covered, arrived at a house in the area and rang the doorbell.
A woman inside reportedly opened the door, leading to an argument between the two.
The woman’s partner then allegedly appeared and stabbed the 41-year-old in the back. The injured woman reportedly fled, but the couple allegedly pursued her and threw objects in her direction before she collapsed on the road and died from her injuries.
The woman’s body was transferred to Syros General Hospital.
