Good Sports Creative launched its agency website the same day its first campaign went live.
After nearly a decade at Wieden+Kennedy, Josh Bogdan decided to launch a marketing agency focused on sports as an antidote to big holding company hierarchies. He began by cold-pitching the MLB a concept to promote the 2024 World Series’ Yankees-Dodgers matchup, and the league became Good Sports Creative’s first client. The agency closed 2025, its first full year, with $1.5 million in revenue.
Sports are one of the last monocultural forms of entertainment in the current fragmented media landscape, and marketers are eager to get their investments in sports marketing right. Good Sports Creative’s philosophy is that giving brands direct access to senior creative talent without the layers of communication required in working with big agency models will do just that.
That way of working, along with standout work, earned Good Sports Creative Newcomer Agency of the Year, Silver at the 2026 Ad Age Small Agency Awards.
