A 36-year-old man in Veria allegedly turned a family grave into a hiding place for drugs, according to a police investigation.
Narcotics officers searching a cemetery in a settlement in the Municipality of Alexandria on Thursday discovered 38.18 grams of raw cannabis and two precision electronic scales hidden inside a compartment normally used to store oil for the memorial lamp on the grave.
Police released footage of the discovery, showing the drugs concealed in the small storage area.
The cannabis and scales were confiscated, and the 36-year-old was arrested on charges of drug possession and trafficking.
