President Cyril Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Vincent Magwenya, is expected to brief the media to outline the president’s public engagement programme and address issues of current interest, as the Western Cape High Court prepares to hear Ramaphosa’s urgent interdict application.

The briefing will take place at the Union Buildings in Pretoria at 11:30am on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.

The briefing comes as the Western Cape High Court is scheduled to hear President Cyril Ramaphosa’s urgent application for an interdict on Wednesday and Thursday.

Ramaphosa filed court papers last month seeking to halt the committee’s proceedings.
