Funeral details for Creashy Maart, the courageous young woman who transformed her battle with cancer into a profound movement of hope uniting thousands across South Africa has been announced.
Her friends, family, and supporters will honour her life this Saturday, 18 July, at the Old Apostolic Church in Portlands, Mitchells Plain.
Even while enduring unimaginable adversity, she remained a steady source of inspiration, offering hope to fellow patients and reminding her community to face life’s challenges with a smile. Last week, the Kids Can Cancer Foundation founder Kaashief Lakay confirmed her passing, reflecting on a life that left a permanent mark on those who knew her story. "Creashy touched the lives of countless people with her extraordinary courage, kindness, and selflessness," Lakay said. "Even while facing unimaginable challenges, she continued to inspire others with her strength and her unwavering hope."
