A pregnant 21-year-old woman lost her life and her one-year-old son was shot in the face while in his mother’s arms in a mass shooting during the early hours of Sunday in Malmesbury.
The 21-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man died during the shooting.
Six adults and an infant were wounded and admitted to hospital for medical treatment where they are reported to be in a stable condition.
The shooting took place at around 4:40am in Godetia Street, Wesbank, where the group was sitting and drinking when gunmen allegedly entered through a neighbour's yard as there is no gate and opened fire on the group through the barbed wire.
