AbdulRazaq said the release of the abducted victims brought relief to families who had endured months of uncertainty following their abduction.

The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has commended security agencies for securing the release of the schoolchildren and teachers kidnapped in Oriire community, Oyo State.

The NGF chairman and Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said the operation demonstrated the effectiveness of coordinated intelligence and inter-agency collaboration in tackling insecurity across the country.

AbdulRazaq said the release of the abducted victims brought relief to families who had endured months of uncertainty following their abduction.

In a statement issued, AbdulRazaq, who chairs the NGF, congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the release of the pupils and their teachers, describing it as the result of sustained security coordination and intelligence-driven operations.
