The coalition called on the Federal Government to immediately intensify intelligence-driven operations and strengthen inter-agency collaboration to ensure the safe rescue of the abducted Borno pupils.

The Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) has commended the rescue of schoolchildren abducted in Oyo State, describing the operation as clear evidence that coordinated security efforts, effective intelligence gathering and strong political will can produce tangible results in Nigeria's fight against insecurity.

However, the group expressed concern that schoolchildren abducted in Borno State on the same day are still being held captive, urging the Federal Government and security agencies to replicate the same level of urgency and commitment that led to the rescue of the Oyo pupils.

The position was contained in a statement issued by the National Coordinator of the Coalition of Northern Groups, Comrade Jamilu Aliyu Charanchi, who commended the gallantry and professionalism of security agencies, intelligence operatives and all individuals involved in securing the safe release of the Oyo schoolchildren.

According to Charanchi, the successful operation has renewed hope for millions of Nigerians grappling with widespread insecurity, kidnappings and violent crimes across different parts of the country.
