MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon, or habagat, is expected to continue to bring heavy rain over major parts of the country, the weather bureau said.
In a weather advisory issued at 5 pm on Saturday, July 11, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that monsoon rains are forecast to affect Zambales, Bataan and Occidental Mindoro.
Meanwhile, occasional rains are also expected to prevail over the following areas due to habagat:
