MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or “habagat” will prevail in extreme Northern Luzon in the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.
In its weather forecast issued at 4 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the southwest monsoon will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Ilocos Norte, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands.
