MANILA, Philippines — Rain showers triggered by the southwest monsoon or “habagat” will continue to hound parts Luzon on Wednesday, according to the state weather bureau.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Benison Estareja said during the 5 p.m weather advisory that the following areas may be affected by monsoon rains on Tuesday evening until Wednesday.

The rest of Luzon and Western Visayas may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies also due to the enhanced “habagat.”
