MANILA, Philippines – Moderate to intense rains may prevail over parts of Luzon on Tuesday afternoon, July 28, due to the southwest monsoon, or habagat, the state weather bureau said.
In the 12:30 p.m. weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the southwest monsoon is expected to bring heavy rains with lightning and strong winds over the following areas within the next two hours:
Meanwhile, heavy to intense rains and thunderstorms with strong gusts of wind are being experienced in Quezon province and may persist within the next two hours, also due to the habagat. Pagasa further warned that heavy rainfall conditions may affect nearby areas.
