MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to persist in some parts of Luzon on Tuesday while it is forecast to weaken in the next coming days, according to the state weather bureau on Tuesday.

In the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said that concentrated rainfall is expected in the western section of the country.
