MANILA, Philippines — The southwest monsoon or habagat will continue to prevail in parts of Luzon and Visayas on Saturday and is expected to affect more areas in Luzon in the coming days, according to the state weather bureau.

In the 5 a.m. weather forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, weather specialist Veronica Torres said that the southwest monsoon will bring rains in most parts of Luzon and the western section of Visayas.
