Ramanathapuram district administration has set up a control room at the Collectorate to guide school and college students on getting various scholarships available for them.In a statement, Ramanathapuram Collector M. Sivaguru Prabhakaran, said that the control room would provide details about the scholarships being offered by the Government and non-governmental organisations. It would facilitate the students to get the scholarship on time.Students can contact the control room to clarfiy their doubts and also to air their grievances on the issue.The procedures to apply for different scholarships, the documents required to be submitted, the conditions and eligibilities would be explained to the students.Besides, the control room would also give solutions for technical glitches while making online submission of applications and various hindrances and the ways to rectify when applications are rejected or delayed.The officials manning the control room would also enquire and redress the complaints on issues over the scholarship amount being deposited in their bank accounts.School and college students can call the control room set up on the ground floor of the collectorate building over 9087107139, the statement said.
