Ramanathapuram district administration has invited donors and philanthropists to express their willingness if they wished to provide assistance to struggling students to continue their higher education, either as material aid or by paying their educational fees.A press statement of the district administration said that the Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that it is committed to ensuring 100% enrolment in higher education for all students who have completed their grade 12.In Ramanathapuram district, some students who studied grade 12 in government and government-aided schools are in a situation where they are unable to continue their higher education due to financial constraints, it added.Government of Tamil Nadu considering the financial situation of students who are unable to continue their education and the economic circumstances of their parents have also implemented various schemes and policies.Also, willing philanthropists and donors may contact the Higher Education Guidance - District Control Room functioning at the District Collector’s Office premises via telephone numbers 04567-228016 or 04567-228021, or via WhatsApp numbers 98948 25860 or 99433 35196, or visit the officer in the control room in person to express their willingness and provide assistance for the continuation of the education of poor, underprivileged, and financially backward students, District Collector M.
