Nandyal District Collector Rajakumari Ganiya on Thursday felicitated students of schools and colleges run under the aegis of the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society who excelled in the Class 10 and Intermediate exams. The students, along with their parents, were honoured with certificates of appreciation, mementos, and traditional shawls.The Collector honoured 12 students from the Residential Educational Institutions, 13 Intermediate toppers, and five other students from the AP Model Schools and BC Welfare educational institutions.Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that he hoped that their achievements would not be limited to exam results, but would serve as a strong foundation for their future.He advised students to cultivate the habit of conceptual learning, rather than relying on rote memorisation. He said: "A student who asks questions is a true student. Intellectual curiosity serves as the very foundation of success."Students were also urged to stay informed about current developments in society, including national and international affairs.The Collector also urged students to cultivate hobbies, engage in sports, and acquire essential life skills alongside their academic education.
