The Delta State Police Command has arraigned a 63-year-old man, Prince Chizoba Ojokwu, proprietor of Prince Tarvan 50 Brothel, before an Asaba Magisterial District court for allegedly running a brothel and procuring women and girls for prostitution.

The command disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday, signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, as a follow-up to an intelligence-led raid conducted across identified criminal black spots in Asaba metropolis on Saturday, 4 July 2026.

According to the statement, Ojokwu was among 30 suspects arraigned out of 202 persons arrested during the operation, which was led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations.

The police said the raid, which targeted black spots, brothels and suspected illicit drug dens across Asaba and adjoining communities, followed credible information generated by the State Intelligence Department.
