"The female suspect, Mrs. Tope Omolola Comfort, was arrested and detained last Saturday, while ASP Victor Foupade was also arrested by the Area Command in Ughelli," the source told SaharaReporters.
The Delta State Police Command has arrested an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mieyebo Victor Foupade, over allegations that he circulated nude videos of his wife online with the assistance of another woman identified as Mrs. Tope Omolola Comfort.
A top police source confirmed the development, saying both suspects are currently in police custody.
"The female suspect, Mrs. Tope Omolola Comfort, was arrested and detained last Saturday, while ASP Victor Foupade was also arrested by the Area Command in Ughelli," the source told SaharaReporters.
SaharaReporters had earlier reported allegations by the officer's wife that she had been subjected to prolonged domestic abuse, repeated threats to her life, and that her nude videos were allegedly circulated without her consent.
