The Anambra State Police Command has said that its operatives arrested three women over their alleged involvement in a child trafficking syndicate, accusing them of selling a four-year-old child for ₦2 million.

The suspects, identified as 45-year-old Florence Nnakuzie, 52-year-old Hannah Ugah, and 27-year-old Chinasa Daniel, were arrested on the evening of Saturday, July 11, 2026, during an operation by police operatives attached to the Awada Divisional Headquarters at a motor park in Onitsha.
