Power interruption scheduled in parts of Calapan City on July 4

Several areas in Calapan City will experience a two-hour emergency power interruption early Saturday, July 4, 2026, as the Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ormeco) carries out corrective works on two distribution feeders.

CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Several areas in Calapan City will experience a two-hour emergency power interruption early Saturday, July 4, as the Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative Inc. (Ormeco) carries out corrective works on two distribution feeders.

In an advisory, Ormeco said the power outage is scheduled from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. and will affect consumers connected to Feeders CA200 and CA201.
