These were the words of an Eerste River mother, speaking for the first time about the day her three-year-old daughter went missing from her father's care on 30 June 2026 and was later raped.
The toddler was found injured in a bushy area behind a shack in Forest Village by a sex-worker who caught the suspect still on top of her.
The man allegedly caught sexually assaulting her was killed by enraged community members.
