At the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, held in Gdańsk in recent days, one of the five key thematic pillars was security and defense.
The conference also served as a platform for talks between Ukrainian and Polish defense companies. One of the key outcomes was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Polish state-owned defense holding Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) and the Ukrainian company TAF Industries.
In an interview with Ukrinform, PGZ President Adam Leszkiewicz spoke about what cooperation with Ukrainian partners means for the Polish side, its future prospects, and his assessment of Ukraine's defense industry.
