The Ukrainian defense company TAF Industries and the leading Polish defense contractor, the state-owned PGZ Group, have agreed to cooperate in the defense sector.

Oleksandr Yakovenko, founder of TAF Industries, provided details of the cooperation—agreed upon on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2026)—in a statement to Ukrinform.

“We have signed a general memorandum of cooperation. First and foremost, this involves scaling up production and developing technologies, since we have solid experience applying them [on the battlefield] and understand how to use them effectively. The Polish side, on the other hand, has strong engineering capabilities and the capacity for large-scale production,” Yakovenko noted.

According to him, the parties are currently identifying all the products of interest to the Polish side.

“These could include ground-based robotic systems, electronic warfare systems, and interceptor drones. It all depends on what we want to do together, joint production or joint technology development,” noted the head of TAF Industries.
