Polish state-owned defense holding Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) is considering providing maintenance, servicing and repair support for Ukraine's F-16 and MiG-29 fighter jets.
Adam Leszkiewicz, CEO of the PGZ, said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
According to Leszkiewicz, several Polish companies within the PGZ group are currently cooperating with Ukrainian defense manufacturers. He noted that the partnership initially focused on armored vehicles, including Ukraine's procurement of Krab self-propelled howitzers manufactured by Huta Stalowa Wola.
"Today, we are also discussing support, repairs, and maintenance for Ukrainian F-16 and MiG-29 aircraft supplied by partner countries. In addition, we are already cooperating in the production of selected components for ammunition and missiles for the Ukrainian military," Leszkiewicz said.
He added that the Polish defense holding is simultaneously expanding cooperation with Ukrainian partners into new areas.
