The transformation and battlefield-driven experience of Ukraine's defense industry are invaluable for Western countries, including Poland.
Adam Leszkiewicz, CEO of Poland's state-owned defense holding Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ), said this in an interview with Ukrinform.
"We are deeply impressed by the changes taking place in Ukraine's defense industry, particularly its ability to develop flexible, effective, and innovative solutions. This is especially evident in the field of drones. This experience is invaluable for the defense industries of Western countries, including Poland," Leszkiewicz said.
"It demonstrates that traditional production of armored vehicles must be combined with innovation – unmanned systems, counter-drone capabilities, modern command-and-control systems, and more. That is precisely what Ukraine's experience is teaching us," he added.
Leszkiewicz also said that the Polish side highly values Ukraine's diversification of defense production and its success in involving a large number of companies in the defense sector.
