MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has launched a centralized online platform allowing the public to track government spending from budget approval to actual disbursement, as the government prepares to submit its proposed P7.2-trillion national budget for 2027.

The platform, dubbed the Centralized Open Monitoring Platform for Appropriations and Spending Statistics (Compass), consolidates key budget documents and execution data—including the National Expenditure Program, the General Appropriations Act, appropriations, budget adjustments, allotments, obligations and disbursements—into a single searchable portal.
