At the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, PrivatBank signed two agreements with international financial institutions, securing over €1.18 billion to finance Ukrainian businesses.

The bank’s press service reported this in a release available to Ukrinform.

In particular, PrivatBank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) agreed to launch a new credit risk‑sharing mechanism totaling €825 million. As part of the agreement, the parties signed the first tranche worth €265 million.

The new mechanism provides that the EBRD will assume part of the risks for new loans issued by PrivatBank to Ukrainian companies. This will allow the bank to significantly expand business lending under wartime conditions.
