On the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Gdańsk, documents worth 10 billion euros are set to be signed, and the disbursement of the first 3.2 billion euros from a 90-billion-euro EU loan is to be announced.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko made this announcement during the opening of the two-day forum.

“Over the next two days of this conference, we expect more than 160 agreements worth over 10 billion euros to be signed,” the prime minister said.

She added that on June 25, the disbursement of the first 3.2 billion euros from a 90 billion euro loan from the EU is also expected to be announced.

The prime minister told the event’s participants about the Ukrainian national tradition of “toloka,” in which people come together to rebuild a destroyed house, and compared it to Ukraine's current rebuilding.
