Applications for the Artisans of Mzansi competition are set to close on June 30.

Artisanal entrepreneurs throughout South Africa have the opportunity to compete for prize money of up to R200 000, by submitting their applications at https://allangraymakers.co.za/artisans-of-mzansi/.

Participants must be 50 years or younger, qualified, and partly, or wholly, own a business in any trade.

Three of the prize categories are based on business revenue, with an additional category celebrating the innovators in the sector, with business revenue not a precondition.

“The technical trades in South Africa are often overlooked,” says Allan Gray Makers programme director Seth Mulli.
