Jub Jub Molemo Maarohanye, known as Jub Jub, faces the court as his case is postponed to August amid ongoing investigations.
Popular musician and television personality Molemo Katleho Maarohanye, known as Jub Jub, appeared in the Germiston Magistrate’ s Court on Monday in connection with firearm-related charges linked to an incident involving an e-hailing driver in Edenvale earlier this month.
Maarohanye faces charges of “discharging a firearm in a public place and pointing anything likely to lead a person to believe that it is a firearm,” according to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
The matter stems from an alleged incident on June 14, 2026. During the investigation, police reportedly seized a pellet gun from Maarohanye’s residence.
He appeared in court while out on bail, following an urgent application that was granted by the Gauteng Division of the High Court in Johannesburg on June 16, 2026.
