Six people have been arrested over an alleged brawl with officers during a police inspection for under-age drinking at a club on the western island of Kefalonia, authorities said.

A police statement said five of the suspects face charges including refusing to comply with officers’ instructions, causing bodily harm and making threats. The sixth was arrested for allegedly allowing under-age customers to enter the premises and drink alcohol.

The raid took place early Sunday in the island capital of Argostoli, the statement said, “as part of targeted inspections to address issues that bear the hallmarks of serious and organized crime.”

It said one of the police officers suffered light injuries during the brawl.
