A fire broke out on Saturday afternoon amid low vegetation in the regional unit of Corinthia, southern Greece.
The blaze is developing in an area north of the settlement of Angelokastro, the Fire Department said, adding that winds of 4 to 7 on the Beaufort scale are blowing in the wider area.
Sixty firefighters with 14 fire engines, four aircraft and two helicopters have been dispatched to prevent the flames from reaching the village.
