New forensic findings have emerged in the investigation of the June 9 double killing of a 54-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son in Loggos, Aigialeia.
Laboratory examinations found no blood traces on the accused 65-year-old man’s clothing. Investigators also found no DNA under the victim’s nails or under the nails of the alleged perpetrator, and no fingerprints belonging to the accused on either the firearm or the knife, according to ERT News.
The accused, identified as the woman’s Italian partner, denies involvement and claims, “they killed each other.” He has appointed a well-known geneticist as a technical adviser to monitor examinations and analyses.
