A 54-year-old woman and her 26-year-old son were found dead in their home in the village of Loggos, western Greece, on Tuesday morning.
According to initial information, the two victims bear multiple knife wounds. Officers have found a knife inside a flower pot outside the residence, which is expected to be examined at the Police’s forensic laboratories.
Police have detained the woman’s partner, an Italian national, aged 65. The man is reportedly denying any involvement, saying that he was the one who notified the authorities.
The 26-year-old was from the woman’s first marriage.
